Logos

I was first inspired by graphic design by learning about logo and identity design. This is a sampling of a few of my corporate and personal logos.

CalPERS Logo

When I worked at Page Design Group, I redesigned the CalPERS logo to include 13 rays in the triangle mark, representing the 13 Board of Administration members. This was a very meticulous effort to balance the negative space of each ray. I also improved the ligature between the R and S in CalPERS.

Fred Sater Voice Talent Logo

Fred Sater is a writer and voice talent actor. I created this logo for him with both roles in mind. The font type for “Fred Sater” is set in a traditional typewriter font within a speech bubble.

I expanded the application of the logo to full-bleed letterhead, business cards, and CD labels.

Tastebuds Logo

Tony Gruska started his catering business from his home kitchen and community garden. To increase his reach, I designed a culinary identity for his farm-to-fork service.

I created a fresh, organic, and friendly logo and logotype. The fork and spoon element includes the "budding" spoon, a nod to the Tastebuds name. I included this element on several collateral pieces including menus and magnetic clings.

Infinite Baker Logo

I enjoyed designing this logo as much as the baked items my friend creates from her commercial home kitchen. She named her bakery business "Infinite Baker" after the infinity charms she wears daily and her endless love for baking. The rolling pin in the shape of an infinity symbol with the heart above it represents her bakery identity in a personal and heart-warming way.

I sent this logo design to a rubber stamp manufacturer so that my friend could stamp her bakery boxes, bags, and labels.
